  Beware everyone, deposit taken to make booking is NON-refundable no matter what. I had my holiday cancelled and hoping that they will show sympathy and return my deposit, but NO, no sympathy given at all. I wonder if a cold person like that would actually have the care for our dogs.
  
  Also, they do NOT let anyone have a look at their kennel, even after taking deposit! Never come across any kennel without transparency, everyone else always welcome for customers to have a look even prior to booking. Something fishy must be going on.. For a supposedly a 'boutique' kennel, customers get no service at all.

  Brought my Jack Russell here a few years ago and do not recommend it to anyone. Came back from our holiday and he had lost so much weight. He wasn't his usual bubbly terrier self for approximately 4 days after getting home and had to bring him to the vets because he contracted Kennel Cough whilst in their care.
  
  Would never leave my baby here again.

  We had our 11yr old Lhasa Apso there for 3.5weeks and paid for the extra pamper package of $65 a week etc, we couldnt view the kennel as the owner doesnt like to disrupt the other dogs and had to pay in full prior to getting there.....I called when he was there to see if he was ok and Janette said straight away "yes he's fine". 3.5weeks later we collected our dog and he was a mess.....he was thin, his hair was so matted his collar couldnt be removed, we then had to get his long coat shaved off at $150.00 cost and now has to wear a jumper, it had taken yrs to grow his coat long.She said she had trouble brushing him, yet we had a phone number to call if there was ANY problems, you cant just leave this sort of dog without grooming! I could have arranged for alternative grooming! He has also been eating non stop...6meals a day to try and get his weight back up. this place is a disgrace! pamper what??? after our dog being there for 3.5weeks when we collected him Janette didnt even know the sex of our dog!!!!! I'll be following this up with the RSPCA as this is wrong and get them out there to inspect the property!! VERY VERY BAD PLACE!

  I am surprised at the negative comments made , my dogs are fussy in house dogs , having to leave your family pet at a kennels is stress enough , my dog wouldn't even get out of the car at the previous kennels and hated it .. then I found snips and snoozes what a delight ! No more stress for me or my dogs . I've been taking them to Janet for many years , both dogs literally squeal with excitement as soon as I hit Crufts way and are eager to get out of the car and run into the reception area wagging their tails !!!!! Janet is thorough spends time doing a hand over but also has a strict routine , so abiding by the appointment times makes perfect sense as its keeping your pet in a routine while they are there . There's a whole area , a check in point if you like , when you place you dogs in there you clearly see where they are housed so again I don't understand the negative comments , I wouldn't want people going through the whole area where pets were staying , it would just confuse them so I agree with the Kennel owners not to do that . I would happily attest to this review Ive been so lucky finding Snips and Snoozes .

  I can't believe these bad reviews - our dog has been here a few times and is always happy and healthy when we return to pick him up - i have tried other kennels but have always been unsatisfied with their hygene, he came away covered in his own excrement from one place. The dogs have a play time and i believe the owner always makes sure they are put with like size dogs, although they only have small dogs anyway.
  i wouldn't hesitate to board my baby here again and wouldn't want to put him anywhere else
